1/5/2024 0 Comments Poison final fight streetwiseHaggar is joined by Maki the female ninja and Carlos the guynobody cares about as they travel around the world roughing up thugs. It's a competent sequel, especially if all someone had was a SuperNintendo, but it doesn't do anything quite as well as the originalarcade game. Theonly downside besides the lack of multiplayer is that several bosseswere removed, so players end up fighting Sodom three times! Had itbeen released prior to the debut of the SNES, Mighty Final Fightwould probably have been a big NES hit.Final Fight 2 (Super NES, 1992)-The first Super NES-exclusive Final Fight sequel supports two playersat last. Compared to theirarcade versions, both games are only single-player, add experiencesystems, and change the levels and enemies up somewhat. Players exchange dialoguewith bosses now (including special, awesome dialogue forAlpha Cody and Guy).Sadly the US version is still censored in all the same ways asthe SNES game, so the import's a little better.Mighty Final Fight (NES, 1993)-One of the last games produced for the NES, Mighty Final Fightis akin to the NES version of Double Dragon. There are unlockable bonuses like alternate charactercolors, and you can even play as Guy and Cody's Street FighterAlpha sprites (sans shadows, oddly). Thegood news is that two-player mode and the Industrial Area arepresent. Still, the Japanese Mega CD is thebest way to play Final Fight CD.Final Fight One (GameBoy Advance, 2001)-This is a unique combination of the SNES and arcade Final Fights. The sprites and backgrounds are mostly taken from the SNES game,so the animation and missing details have not been restored. In summary, in the West and Japan, Poison is considered to be transsexual, but in the United States and Latin America she is considered a woman, although Capcom has not yet officially defined this issue. The image of Jessica shown in the intro was censoredas well, though perhaps that hurts less since it was always cutfrom the US arcade version. However, when the Super Nintendo version of Final Fight Guy arrived in the cartridge manual, Poison was sexually defined as "Newhalf" (transsexual). The western versions of the Sega Mega-CD console have censored the characters in a different way, since Poison and Roxy appear but, because of their tiny garments that apparently inspired sex and lust, they put them long-sleeved shirts without cleavage and long pants. This change affected the American and European versions of the video game for Nintendo consoles, including the Game Boy Advance version, Virtual Console of the Wii and in the videogame Final Fight: Streetwise, which is included as an unlockable extra. Despite their objections, Poison and Roxy were replaced by two punk-looking male characters named Billy and Sid. However, Akira Yasuda had to point out that Poison and Roxy were "transsexuals". An American who worked as a tester at Capcom reviewed the content during the process of locating one of the Japanese designers, and opposed that the protagonist of the video game hit women, referring to Poison and his partner Roxy, enemies to beat at the level 2 of the video game. The original Final Fight video game was versioned on the Super Nintendo consoles. Censorship and controversy over their gender
